Title: ConstructionProject Manager (Utilities)

Salary: $110k-$130k

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other industry related fields required.
- 8+ years of relevant experience developing deliverables related to the planning, design, and construction of electric and/or gas transmission and distribution, electrical substations, and/or other related systems and facilities.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD MicroStation, and/or GIS tools
- Coordination of conflicting utilities and other field engineering design requirements
- Complex projects in dense urban environments, construction permit development, easements and ROW coordination
- Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications
Summary:
The Project Manager will provide team leadership on complex improvement projects within the energy and utilities organization. The Project Manager reports directly to the Senior Program Manager and will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects, from overhead and underground transmission lines to gas-insulated substations. The Project Manager will manage the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule and budget of assigned project(s) in accordance with the client procedures and standard practices from conceptual phase through design completion.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high level of quality and responsiveness to client requirements
- Manage projects, initiation through closeout within the project approved cost, quality, and schedule
- Supervise, develop, and mentor team of engineers, technicians, and/or designers
- Lead as a technical design expert and manage the development of design packages for power generation, transmission, and/or distribution projects. Design packages include detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, proposal evaluations, technical reports, cost estimates, and other documents required for construction
- Assist with the preparation of RFP responses
- Ensure that all projects meet safety standards in accordance with OSHA, state regulations and other industry best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
